CITY OF ITHACA DEPT OF PUBLIC WORKS plans, builds & maintains city streets (and so much more) including bikeways, trails and traffic control.

CORNELL BIG RED BIKES is a student led program that provides a free bike share for the Cornell community.

CREATING HEALTHY PLACES PROJECT of the Human Services Coalition works well with others to make active transportation more prevalent in Tompkins County.

FINGER LAKES CYCLING CLUB (FLCC) has regular recreational rides, racing events, organized tours, family rides and bike info galore.

FINGERLAKES FITNESS CENTER helps you stay fit all year long.

FRIENDS BIKE CLINICS are free weekly bike repair gatherings April to September:  Sundays 1-3pm at Quaker Meetinghouse & Tuesdays 4-6pm at Pressbay Alley.

GET YOUR GREENBACK TOMPKINS encourages you to join the 1000s of others who save energy and money by biking and walking.

GREATER ITHACA ACTIVITIES CENTER (GIAC) invites you to bike or walk to this great downtown community center.

ITHACA-TOMPKINS COUNTY TRANSPORTATION COUNCIL (ITCTC) facilitates county-wide transportation planning including planning for biking and walking.

ITHACA CARSHARE makes it easier to be multi-modal: bike, walk, bus and carshare your way around as needed.

RECYCLE ITHACA BICYCLES (RIBs) is the bicycle reuse and training program of the Southside Community Center.

SOUTHSIDE COMMUNITY CENTER is a community resource center that supports physical activity and healthy eating.

TCAT buses carry 17,000 bicycles a year: take a bike on a bus and defeat the hills.

WAY2GO provides information and workshops about your transportation options, biking & walking included.
